Five UN staff members were abducted on their way back to Aden from a Yemeni field mission.

UN spokesman Russell Gecky said the crew had been abducted from the Abyan Governorate on Friday.
He said the United Nations was in close contact with authorities to secure the release of the staff.
The Yemeni government says it is working for the safe release of UN staff abducted by unknown gunmen.
According to an official, four of the five people abducted from the UN office in Aden are Yemenis and one is a foreign national.
The official said the UN workers were abducted from Abyan on Friday and taken to an unknown location.
