Karachi police have launched a survey to find out the whereabouts of the accused who kidnapped the citizens for ransom. Karachi police have so far surveyed and identified 30 to 35 such areas and gathered information on the people and the area where the abductees are likely to be kept and the accused are hiding from law enforcement agencies. Most of the areas where information has been collected include Gulshan-e-Maymar Police Station, Site Super Highway Industrial Area, Surjani Town, Manghopir, Sachal, Sohrab Goth and Gadap City Police Station.
