Thai police have found blood stains on the room and towels of the late Australian cricketer Shane Warren.

Shane Warren, 52, died of a heart attack two days ago.

A spokesman for the cricketer said Shane Warren had been found dead in a villa in Thailand, having died of a heart attack.

However, Thai police investigating the case said they found several blood stains in Shane Warren's room.

The local police commander said there were more blood stains in Shane Warren's room, while blood stains were also found on the towels.

He said that when Shane Warren was given CPR, he was bleeding from his mouth.
